Lilburn City Council Meeting Agenda: Adoption of 2013 Millage Rate, Special Events Policy

The monthly meeting will be held Monday, July 8.

The Lilburn City Council will meet Monday (July 8) for its monthly work session and regular meeting. 

The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the work session preceding it at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings will take place in the Calvin Fitchett Municipal Building, located at 76 Main St. 

The following items are on the agenda: 

-There will be a public hearing on the 2013 tax year millage rate before the council will vote on it. The proposed rate is set for 4.45 mills, the same as the 2012 rate. 

-A revision to the special events policy, which has been tabled in the past two city council meetings

-Appointment of the acting city clerk, as previous clerk Kathy Maner retired Friday

-Amendments to traffic and vehicles code

-Revisions to personnel policies and procedures manual
