New Downtown Lilburn Restaurant Postpones Open Date to Late July

1910 Public House had originally set its grand opening for late June or early July.

Sparkle in the Park isn't the only thing being rescheduled in Lilburn: Downtown's newest restaurant, 1910 Public House, has pushed its tentative open date to the end of July.

When Lilburn Patch spoke to co-owner Anthony Tiberia in mid-June, he said that he aimed to open by the end of June or the Fourth of July.

According to the City of Lilburn E-Newsletter for July 2013, renovations to the old Blue Rooster building are nearing completion.

1910 Public House will be split into two parts: The right side will be the recognizable sit-down restaurant with service and waiters, and the left side will be a less formal market. Complete with a garage door and outdoor seating, the market will be a place where customers can grab a cappuccino and chicken biscuit in the morning, pick up a box lunch during work, and buy packaged potato chips and pimento cheese throughout the day.

The new Lilburn eatery is Tiberia's and his wife's second restaurant after Sprig in Decatur. It also will be the only restaurant in downtown Lilburn when it opens.
