Penny-Sized Hail Possible Tonight
The National Weather Service has issued a "significant weather advisory" for Gwinnett County.
Lilburn, and other Gwinnett County residents, may be in for penny-sized hail tonight, as stormy weather moves through the area.
The National Weather Service issued the "significant weather advisory" at 8:30 p.m. At that time, radar indicated that a strong thunderstorm was moving slowly over the Mountain Park area.
In addition to hail, the storm may bring ground lightning and strong wind gusts up to 45 mph.
