Planned PETHood Offers Cat Spay Promotion

Cost is $50 through the month of June.

During the throes of “kitten season,” Planned PEThood of Georgia announced it is offering a “Beat the Heat” promotion to spay female cats for only $50 throughout the month of June. This price includes a free rabies vaccination.

The clinic is sponsoring the promotion to encourage owners to have their female cats spayed. The promotion is open to all pet owners with no income or residency requirements.

Planned PEThood is a high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter clinic. A high-volume clinic is one that provides enough spay/neuter surgeries to sustain the clinic financially while making an impact on the community, according to the announcement. The clinic has performed more than 2,600 spay and neuter surgeries since opening in August of 2010.
