Both are wonderful and each has its own character. Lilburn Park is more of a neighborhood park where people can congregate and Mountain Park has the big sports complex. Mountain Park has the Depot for indoor activities, but Lilburn Park has a real live train! We are fortunate to have both so close to us.

Mountain Park, wonderful place walk, talk and enjoy other people and exercise. Love seeing kids, ducks, birds and people in the outdoors!!

Lilburn Park: the people walking the trails are friendlier, and the trail progresses through wetlands, forested areas and around Lilburn Park. Mountain Park Park has the sports fields and a rigorous terrain the gives a great cardio workout (in the clockwise direction) on the forest trail, but Lilburn is my favorite.

Lilburn Park (my vote) is more peaceful & close to the police station. So far, our vehicles haven't been broken into there. Mountain Park is nice & the concession stand food is good, but the skatepark hoodlums ruin it for my family. We avoid that park in attempt to keep our kids away from those influences...sad.
