Results of recent Gwinnett County restaurant inspections in Greater Lilburn by the East Metro Health District, which covers Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton counties. Each report includes a synopsis of deficiencies found by the inspector.

Deficiencies Found: (This is a follow-up inspection)  Cook seen slicing tomatoes with bare hands (gloves should be worn); Sliced tomatoes came in contact with ice pack in prep cooler (tomatoes should be wrapped to prevent contamination).

Deficiencies Found: Waffle batter in walk-in closet was above 50 degrees (batter must be cooled from 70 degrees to 41 in four hours); Packs of ham seen soaking in water in sink (potentially hazardous food needs to thawed under running water that is 70 degrees); Cook seen slicing bread with knife, sanitizing knife, then placing bread on plate before changing gloves (sanitize after completely serving a meal; then sanitize knife and change gloves)
