Weather Watch Canceled; Storms Still in Forecast
Storms caused damage in northern Alabama.
The severe thunderstorm watch that had been issued until noon for north Georgia, including Gwinnett County, has been cancelled by the National Weather Service.
The line of storms that caused wind damage in northern Alabama earlier today fizzled out as it moved eastward toward Atlanta.
Despite the cancellation, strong storms are still in the forecast.
