Temporary Sunshine Hits Lilburn

Finally, the rain can give it a rest in Lilburn and Gwinnett.

After what seems like weeks of continuous rainstorms and the occasional thunder and lightning, the sun is finally out Tuesday (July 16) and residents are able to head outside without an umbrella or hood.

The National Weather Service predicts we'll stay dry for the next few days, but come Thursday (July 18), there's a 30 percent chance the rain will come back.

And that chance of rain is staying through Tuesday (July 23).

Are you tired of the rain? How do you plan on seizing this sunny day?
