20th Annual XYZ (EXTRA YEAR OF ZEST) DAY

Tuesday, March 18, the 20th annual XYZ Day will be held at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, 50 Harmony Grove Road, Lilburn, GA 30047.  This is the time for ALL SENIORS/ALL DENOMINATIONS IN THIS AREA, TO GATHER TO FELLOWSHIP, LEARN, AND TO SHARE A NOON MEAL.  Seniors from Mountain Park UC, Snellville UMC, Tucker UMC and Harmony Grove have planned this popular day.

Following lunch, Cindy Wood, Ms Senior Georgia 2013, will entertain us with her stories as she demonstrates her passion for aging gracefully.  Cindy, a retired DeKalb County ESOL teacher, participates in the Dazzlin' Dames who perform around the state.  Cindy's Mother, Jerrye Short was Ms Senior Georgia in 1997.

 Registration fee of $12 per person should be sent to Darla From, XYZ Treasurer, Snellville UMC; 2428 Main Street; Snellville 30078.  This fee includes coffee and light refreshments, lunch and door prizes.  EIGHT INFORMATIVE/ENTERTAINING INTEREST GROUPS ARE OFFERED.  Two Interest Groups may be selected by each person.  

March 18 will begin with late registration and coffee time in Pollard Hall.  Everyone gathers in the Sanctuary at 9:20 am.   Interest Groups begin at 10:15 and 11:15 am.  Lunch is followed by our entertainment speaker.  The day should end by 2 PM immediately following drawing for door prizes.
