Perhaps Amy is one who believes that economic recovery begins close to home.

This is a lovely shop in my hometown; its proceeds are used to help sustain the historical records and artifacts of Grayson. While certainly its open house doesn't have global implications that rival presidential elections, it is strongly supported by those living in the Grayson area and reflects the "shop local" attitude that indicates grass roots attention to economic recovery.

Not the Patch Police, but editors who are invested in the hometowns they serve, Chris. While more "serious subject matter" is discussed among the Patch comments, (the VP Debate has more than 300 commens at this time) small town life goes along. We intend to let folks know about that as well as the "serious" things. I happen to believe that entrepreneurial endeavors and commerce are vitally important.

I love living in Grayson. It's a great town, and I will continue to support it.
