New Dawn Theater presents "The Santa Games"

Gwinnett residents, John and Sandy Laszlo, have written an original children's play, The Santa Games. This is the third play that the couple has written and had produced. The play will be directed by Debbie Bush. The Santa Games will be performed at the New Dawn Theater in Duluth on December 14, and 21 at 11:00 AM and on December 15, and 16 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00

The Santa Games is a humorous and heartwarming story that kids and adults will enjoy. The story involves the world's richest man, zillionaire Chester Arthur Harrumph, who wants to become a big celebrity by sponsoring a contest for children to win a trip to the North Pole and a visit with Santa. Four finalists are chosen to compete in the Santa Games where they must show their creativity, showmanship, and Spirit of Christmas. When Mr. Harrumph switches the prize at the last minute the children are heartbroken until a visitor from the North Pole sets things right.
