7 Goals You MUST Complete in 2012

"Breathe 12 more breaths per day" and six other vitally important goals for 2012.

On behalf of myself, Barack Obama and Lebron James, I’d like to wish you a very happy New Year!

I hope that you have a wonderful year, and that you are able to eat at Chick-Fil-A.

I believe it is vital that we each make some resolutions for the new year.  Well, maybe not vital, but if you want to grow as a person, then it is very important.  Actually, now that I think about it, there are lots of ways to grow as a person.  Regardless, I think it is important to consider some goals for 2012.

In case you haven’t had a chance to think about it yet, I would like to offer you seven potential goals for becoming a better person.

  1. Breathe 12 more breaths per day.  Breathing is essential to life, so it makes sense that the more you breathe, the better off you will be.
  2. Eat one less fry at each fast food meal.  Researches say that the average American eats six trillion fries every year and that the fat content in those fries could fill the Atlantic Ocean...twice.  So cut back by one fry each time.
  3. Win the lottery.  It’s simple really.  You just pick the right combination of numbers.
  4. Speak to people.  Especially when someone asks you a question, otherwise you are just being rude, and rude people never win the lottery.
  5. Celebrate Arbor Day.  It is one of the more neglected holidays, and, dare I say, the most important one we have.  We have lost sight of what’s important in this country.
  6. Only take the amount of napkins that you need when at fast food restaurants.  Twice as many napkins are wasted each year than are produced.
  7. Be generous...to me.  Sure, there are lots of causes out there that need your support, but how many of those make you laugh?  They say that laughter is the best medicine, so in a sense, I’m helping to cure cancer - that’s worth your support.

That’s all I have for now, but I hope I’ve given you something to think about.  Please commit to all 7 of those goals.  I personally guarantee that if you commit to all of them and do them everyday, then you will reach your goals within 30 days of completing your goals.
