Lilburn to Celebrate Arbor Day with Dedication to Former Mayor, City Volunteer

Both Diana Preston and the late Diane Bronk will be honored.

The city of Lilburn will honor two citizens during its Arbor Day celebration on March 16. 

Former mayor Diana Preston will be honored with the dedication and planting of a tree, city officials said. And, the late Diane Bronk, a longtime city volunteer, will be honored with the dedication of a bench.

The event will take place 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the city park.

The first 50 families in attendance will receive a 16-inch seedling to take home.  Refreshments will be provided by the Lilburn Woman’s Club. 

McKinley Landscape donated the tree being planted at this year’s event.
