Where Can You Go to Recycle Your Christmas Tree in Lilburn?

After Christmas is over and done, some people will recycle their wrapping paper. Others will recycle gifts. But all Gwinnett County residents can recycle their Christmas trees.

The county is holding their "Bring One for the Chipper" event and will begin collecting live, undecorated trees on Thursday, Dec. 26. Residents can bring trees to drop-off locations across the county until Saturday, Jan. 18.

Fire station drop-off locations are open 24 hours. Other facilities will be open during their regular business hours.

Drop-off locations in Lilburn are:

  • Fire Station 2, 12 Harmony Grove Road
  • Fire Station 3, 4394 Five Forks-Trickum Road
  • Fire Station 22, 2180 Stone Drive
  • 107 Railroad Avenue (City residents only)
