Lilburn Home Enters 'Deck the House' Contest

The home, located on Vista Heights Way, is already a neighborhood stunner, and now, it could win Gwinnett County schools $100,000.

The owners of a home previously highlighted in an article on Lilburn-Mountain Park Patch have entered it in Patch's Deck the House contest.

To view this entry, please go to http://deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/lilburn, and click on "Browse & Vote."

The Christmas decorations, complete with timed music and more than $100,000 lights, is the work of Keith and Stephanie Self.

If the home wins the contest, $100,000 goes to the local school district, and in this case, that's Gwinnett County Public Schools. Finalists in the contest recieve up to $500 toward their electric bills.

Now, that Lilburn has an entry in the contest, we're hoping for even more entries. A little friendly competition never hurts, especially when there’s
$100,000 on the line!

So if you think your holiday decorations are the best in town, upload
a picture of your house and enter our Deck the House Contest.

We know some of you out there may have decorations up that aren’t as
extravagant as these. That’s OK! We’d still love to have a photo of
your house in the gallery so we can show how the greater Lilburn area has awesome holiday spirit.

Have fun and happy holidays!
