Funeral Arrangements Have Been Made for Austin Frank Schall, 84

Austin Frank Schall, of Lilburn, GA was born July 5, 1928 and passed away on March 1, 2013. 

He was the eldest of 2 sons born to August and Lena Schall of St. Louis, MO.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly J. Schall (nee Wright), his two daughters, Kathy Schall of San Francisco, her partner Trevor Wall; and daughter Leslie Schall, her husband Terry Reuter, and his two grandchildren, Anna Reuter and Alec Reuter, all of Cincinnati, OH; his brother Edward Schall and wife Linda Schall of Phoenix, AZ and their 7 children. 

A graduate of Washington University, St. Louis with a degree in economics, he was a member of Theta Xi fraternity. He played varsity football and varsity baseball for WU. Upon graduation he joined the US Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from the Army Reserves as a major. His career as a surety expert in the commercial insurance arena spanned 3 decades. He was an avid outdoorsman with a keen interest in history.

A Memorial Service to Honor the Life of Austin Frank Schall will be at 11:00 am on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Wages Snellville Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
