Do You Believe Global Warming is Real?

2012 was the hottest year on record in the United States. Scientists say high temperatures were brought on by release of greenhouse gases.

We all know remember the unprecedented 106+ degrees last summer. But was it just a fluke of nature?

According to AccuWeather the average temperature in the United States in 2012 was 55.3 degrees, which is 3.2 degrees above normal. This ranks as the warmest year since 1895 when record keeping began.

Scientists agree that temperatures historically rise and fall, but say that warming caused by the human release of greenhouse gases played into the extreme high temperatures in 2012.

The year began with an unusually warm winter with relatively little snow last year as the beginning which was followed by a March that was so hot that trees began to bloom. Then the drought that engulfed 61 percent of the nation.

Was it just coincidental that 11 natural disasters including several tornadoes, two hurricanes, one striking the Gulf Coast, the second causing extensive damage in New Jersey and New York hit in one year.

What do you think? Was this just a rare case of severe weather? Or are we looking at a real global warming trend?

We have pumped 3 thousand thousand thousand thousand thousand Kgs of non-phase change GHG CO2 into the atmosphere plus enough CO2 into our oceans to change acidity. While 99% of the atmosphere does not trap energy leaving our biosphere, GHGs do delay energy transfer away from Earth. We are seeing the effects of energy building in our air, water & Earth. In 100+ years, we are on schedule to dump 10 thousand thousand thousand thousand thousand Kgs of CO2 plus other GHGs into the air AND other energy trapping mechanisms are cranking up.

Lets take a real look into the causation of why more CO2 enters the atmosphere. POPULATION! Want to control green house gases...you need to control the population. Yes folks, the fast growth in worldwide population is the big problem. People are healthier, having more babies and living longer. Developing countries who are moving toward industrialization compound the problem. It's easy to blame industry....much harder to blame ourselves....isn't it. I can't say 2012 was the hottest on record.....because the great heat wave in the 1930's, which created the "Dust Bowl", might have been worse. We have much better tools and equipment today than they had back then.....so, technically, you really can't compare apples and oranges when you talk about 2012 being the hottest year. And only God knows about whether it was hotter thousands of years ago! Think about it, there had to be quite a warming trend to melt all that ice from the Ice Age! And there were no man made pollutants back then!

Global Warming is a huge lie created by the government and scientific communities for power and money. Now leave my factory alone whilest I continue to dump thousands of metric tons of CO2, heavy metals, and particulates into the air. Thankfully, my home is very far away from the smoke stacks so my kids won't get the chronic bronchitis and upper respiratory complications that are WIDELY reported near major pollution centers (ie. where poor people live). One other thing, it is SOOOO much cheaper to dump our industrial byproducts and sludge into your stream than to properly dispose of them. Have you any idea how much they charge for that? Also, we need to completly disband the EPA, those commies do nothing but give me fines totaling in the hundreds of dollars, though i make hundreds of millions, those hundred dollar fines are a bummer. Our lawyers say it is still cheaper to just pollute and pay the fines, but to keep an eye on the cancer lawsuits. The lawyers think we'll be able to deflect the cancer lawsuits for a few more decades, at which point we may have to start looking into 'not' polluting. Oh, and the EPA keeps saying stuff like your plant emmissions are approaching the LD50 of chemicals (Dosage of a chemical causing a 50% death rate) Do you know the LD50 of dimethylnitrosoamine? Who cares right? We definitely we need to fire those guys at the EPA and the commies who support them.
