$1,219 Worth of Yard Equipment Stolen
Inside the Police Reports: A homeowner on Five Forks Trickum Road reported his yard work equipment stolen last month.
A man reported $1,219 worth of his yard tools stolen June 24 from his home on the 3200 block of Five Forks-Trickum Road.
According to the police report, the man, 48, told police that the equipment had been in his backyard, which had a chain-linked fence, since 7 a.m. that day, and when he arrived home at 7:30 p.m., they were no longer there.
The victim stated that his friend came over to work on the equipment, but he denied taking any of the tools.

The items stolen include three ladders, at 16-foot, 24-foot, and 32-foot lengths and valued at $500 total; a self-propelled Toro mower, costing $369; a Poulan gas-powered leaf blower, estimated at $150; and a Stihl weed eater at $200.
No witnesses or suspects have been listed in the police report.
