3 Year Old Shot and Killed in Unincorporated Lilburn

Gwinnett County Police say a relative of the child is in custody.

Update 11:10pm - Gwinnett County Police says the child has died and this case is being investigated as a homicide. GCPD Cpl. Jake Smith says a three-year-old boy has died. 

Witnesses say there was an argument between people inside the home, which ended in gunfire. No one else was injured. The suspect, who is related to the boy, stayed on the scene and is now in police custody.

A three year old child was reportedly shot in unincorporated Lilburn Tuesday evening.

According to Gwinnett County Police spokesperson Cpl. Jake Smith, the shooting happened on the 5000 block of Stafford Drive. The child is listed in critical condition.
