Multiple car break-ins were reported in the area on the same day last week.

At least three car break-ins were reported in Lilburn on the same day last week, according to Gwinnett Count Police reports.

The victims in the entering autos say the crimes could have taken place any time between 6 p.m. last Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday. The cars were parked at the victims' homes within a mile of one another.

In one of the incidents, a woman reported a $4,000 Gorham flatware set was taken from her vehicle. The vehicle had been parked in her driveway, located on the 1200 block of Stephens St. near Five Forks Trickum Road, and no forced entry was made.

A couple of neighborhoods over on Guinevere Way near Miller Road, the window of a Parkview student's car was smashed in order to gain entry. The victim reported a wallet stolen, along with a $200 Kindle and some cash.

Down the same street was another break-in where no forced entry was made. The victim said he found his glove box and console open, with his GPS device pulled out and left on the driver's seat.

While the suspect didn't take the GPS, the person did take a black cloth computer bag that the car owner uses as a briefcase. He said no computer was in the bag, but his prescription sunglasses and some personal and business papers were in there.

He told police that he's had his car broken into a few times in the last year.
