From atlantabraves.com, "The Braves released a statement Monday, saying: 'We were very concerned to learn of the arrest of Cristhian Martinez in Gwinnett County this morning. We will require him to be evaluated by an independent professional, as provided for in the new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Until we learn further details and have all the facts, we will withhold further comment at this time.'" I don't know what additional facts they need- since his BA registered just shy of twice the legal limit. And, since he'd won a spot in the bullpen with the big club, they ought to consider punishing him by putting him on the inactive roster. And, on a side note- the major league minimum salary for 2012 is $480,000. Does he seriously think he couldn't afford a freaking cab? Idiot.

Thanks for the statement from the Braves Rob. And yes, if you're going to drink, have a designated driver or call a cab.
