A Berkmar High student has been arrested in connection with the tasing and robbing of teens near the school last December.

  • One felony count of robbery (no bond amount set)
  • One count of theft by receiving stolen property (bond set at $1,300)

One of the men got out of the car and asked them if he could use their phone. One of the victim's girlfriends offered her phone, but when she handed it to him, he looked at it and said, "No, nevermind."

He gave the phone back and got back in the car. But he exited it again, walked toward one of the male teens and tased him in the left side of the chest. The suspect got back in his car and they left.

About an hour later, the victims were walking in the Brentwood Downs Apartment complex at 500 Pleasant Hill Rd. to get back to their car. When they were near a lake, they spotted the same Crown Victoria driving toward them.

Holding a gun this time, the same suspect approached them and said, "Give me all you got or I'm gonna shoot you," according to the report.

Two of the victims gave the unknown man their iPhones, and the suspects drove away.

In the arrest report, warrants also were obtained for Abdur-Raheem Ali, 18. The officer listed Ali as having a Lilburn address, but the report notes that Ali is currently in Valdosta.

The report does not state the identities for the other two suspects and if they have had warrants taken out for their arrests.
