Car Burglars Hit Lilburn
A spate of car burglaries were reported Wednesday morning in unincorporated Lilburn.
Five car break-ins happened overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday in unincorporated Lilburn, Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith said, with at least three of them in a subdivision off Miller Road.
Two were on Yorkshire Place and one was on Bainbridge Court in the Hampton Rhoades subdivision off Miller. In all cases, a car window was smashed to gain entry.
Items stolen included Christmas gifts and a purse. At two of the houses, the cars were parked well off the road, at the top of a steep driveway.

A fourth incident was on Wolf Laural Lane, where two cars at one house were broken into. A purse, driver's license, credit and debit cards, and cash were taken from one. A GPS, Blackberry and laptop were taken from the other. Two of the credit cards had been fraudulently used, the police report said.
A police report on the fifth incident wasn't available.
