Child Seat Inspection at Lilburn Park

Make sure that your child's car or booster seat is installed correctly at the event Sept. 24.

How exactly does the seatbelt go through your kid's car seat? Should a child in a booster seat wear the seatbelt across the lap and shoulder? When does a child no longer need a booster seat? Is my child's seat on a recall list?

These are some of the questions child passenger safety technicians can answer for you Sept. 24 at Lilburn Park from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Safe Kids Gwinnett and the City of Lilburn will be sponsoring the event to demonstrate how to correctly install child passenger safety seats after the mayor of Lilburn announced Passenger Safety Week in Lilburn during the Lilburn city council meeting on Sept. 12.
