Driver in Critical Condition After Wreck on Highway 29 in Lilburn

Driver is in "critical and unstable condition," police said.

The driver of a car was critically injured in a two-car collision on Highway 29 in front of Chick-fil-A Tuesday, Lilburn police said.

The driver of the other car was not injured, Captain Ben Haynes said in an email.

The injured driver, whose name was not released, is at Gwinnett Medical Center "in critical and unstable condition in the ICU," Haynes said.

No charges have been filed, and police are still investigating the crash.
