UPDATED: Missing Toddler Found at Lithonia High School

According to preliminary reports, police say a caregiver left the child unattended in a car outside the Lithonia church's fitness center.

A two year-old girl was abducted this morning outside the Fitness Center at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, DeKalb County police say.

According to preliminary reports to authorities, the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. when a caregiver left the child unattended in a car outside the church's fitness center at 6400 Woodrow Rd. in Lithonia.

The child and the car were gone when the caregiver returned, police said in a press release.

The two-year-old is described as black female, last seen wearing blue tights, gray and pink sneakers, a white T-shirt and blue and white hair bows.

The car is described as a 2010 dark gray Dodge Caravan with a plastic covering on the rear windshield.
