Inside Police Reports: Graffiti Reported on Hillcrest Road

Vandals marked fences, a sign and a bridge on May 21.

A Hillcrest Road resident called on May 21 to report graffiti on his wooden fence.

According to the incident report, police also found two electrical boxes across the street, a nearby business sign, the Hillcrest bridge and a wooden fence on Jackson Brook Way had all been vandalized with graffiti, too.

The man said the fence would cost him $600 to fix. According to the report, the graffiti included: “LK, LGF, TVR13, CGB, Lucky Fuk, 187 and Rivalz 85 North.”

Nothing more was written in the report, but a couple of the markings are consistent with gang activity.

Woman Comes Clean

Here’s something that might be surprising:

A Lilburn woman who had run over one of those middle-of-the-street plastic crosswalk stop signs in Old Town, stopped in the Lilburn Police Department to confess.

The sign was bent, but still functional, according to the incident report, but the woman “was apologetic and wanted to notify the police department of the damaged sign.”
