"I asked [him] what the aluminum tube was for," Officer Echevarria wrote in the incident report, "and he stated that he was using it to smoke his herbal potpourri and handed me a packet of Black Death exotic potpourri."

The contents of the packet was a "green leafy substance similar to suspected marijuana," according to the report, and the man was handcuffed and put in the patrol car while the substance was field-tested.

The test was positive for synthetic marijuana, also known as K2. The man, 20, a Lilburn resident, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, Schedule I.

The other three men were cited for criminal trespass.
