Inside Police Reports: Thief Snatches Wallet, Takes Off Running
Woman's wallet was sitting on the trunk of a car when the thief pushed her and took off.
Police were looking for a thief who stole a woman’s wallet last week while she was in the parking lot at on Pleasant Hill Road.
The woman was speaking to a man about a private-property accident between the two, when a man, believed to be around 19 years old, came up from behind, pushed her and grabbed her wallet off the trunk of her car. The alleged thief ran away through the gates of the apartment complex.
According to a Gwinnett County Police incident report, police were looking for a black male, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall wearing a white tack top, black shorts and a black “du-rag.”

Gwinnett and Lilburn Police officers canvassed the area looking for the suspect, but did not find him. The woman notified her credit card companies about the incident.
