Inside Police Reports: Was Van Thief a Bulldogs or Falcons Fan?

Van, affixed with sports logos, was stolen out of the driveway of a Lilburn home.

There are better — and lawful — ways to show sports fandom than a car thief did recently in Lilburn.

responded to a report of a stolen vehicle July 10 in the 5300 block of Harbins Cove Court.

Stolen was a white 1998 Plymouth Voyager that was taken from the driveway around 1 a.m.

The van had a Georgia Bulldogs logo on the hood and a Falcons logo on the rear window.

According to the incident report, the owner told police she heard the sound of a vehicle being started up outside. She looked out the window and saw her van being driven away at a fast speed. It was followed by a black Honda that the woman believed was in on the heist.
