On June 3, two women tried to get away with a cartload of products — salisbury steaks, fruit snacks, body lotion, DVDs, cherry shampoo, bed linen and even douche. In all, they tried to steal more than $300 worth of items before fleeing.

And all while one of the women's child was in the shopping cart.

According to the police report, the store’s asset protection staffer said he saw the women place the items in Walmart bags and then back into a shopping cart, in which one of the women’s child was seated. They left the store through its garden center entrance.

When the employee confronted the women, they said they had a receipt, but when asked to produce one, one of the women grabbed the child and they all headed toward a car in the parking lot, leaving the items and the cart behind.

They left in a silver Acura with a tag number BRC9202.

The case is still active. Police entered a store surveillance video into evidence.
