Lilburn Man Beats Son With Pipe, Report Says
A man who allegedly beat his son with a metal pipe at a Shell station on Harbins road was charged with aggravated assault.
A Lilburn man is charged with beating his son with a metal pipe, the Gwinett Daily Post reported.
The man reportedly went to the on Harbins Road to get his truck back from his son, who had taken it a few days earlier. Witnesses told Lilburn police that the son was working on the truck when the father arrived and "climbed in the vehicle and started beating on him." The beating continued after the two got out of the truck.
Police said the victim had visible injuries on his arms, legs and hands.

The victim was also arrested on outstanding warrants for violation of probation, the report said.
