Lilburn Man Found Guilty in Murder Trial

Quentric Williams will be sentenced on May 8.

A Dekalb County jury returned a guilty verdict Wednesday, in the murder trial of Quentric S. Williams.

According to various news reports, the Lilburn man was found guilty of killing 28-year-old Mitt Lenix at the Starlight Drive-In Theater on Moreland Avenue in 2012.

After shooting Lenix, Williams then led police on a high-speed chase, and was eventually captured in Duluth.

In all Williams was found guilty of: malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, fleeing/attempting to elude police officer, and possession of firearm during commission of crime, according to CBS Atlanta.

Williams will be sentenced on May 8, according to AJC.
