from Gwinnett County was located in Roswell, according to Sen. Police Officer Mark Wyman, alternate public information officer for Gwinnett County Police Department.

A Mattie’s Call was acivated by the GCPD for Carl Ceneski on Friday evening after the Lawrenceville man, who suffers from dementia, went missing. He was last seen at about 2 p.m. Friday in Duluth. Wyman said the Mattie's Call would have resulted in Ceneski's information being entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database, which assisted in him being located by the Roswell Police.

“Everything from warrants to runaways and missing people are located on the system. If he has any contact with law enforcement, and that could be even as a stranded motorist, then the missing person screen will show up so family can be called or he can be brought back home,” Wyman said, adding that Ceneski being located by the Roswell Police was a testament to the success of the system.
