Multiple Vehicles Damaged at Sikh House of Prayers

Six cars were damaged at a church property in Norcross, not to far from Lilburn.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, police were dispatched to the Sikh House Prayers on a call regarding property damage on the premises.

When police arrived to the religious property, located at 1158 Rockbridge Road, near Lilburn, they found six different vehicles with new scracthes on them.

According to witnesses, a young male -- described as having brown hair, pimples on his face and blue shirt -- came into the church property, grabbed a rock and scratched six vehicles in the parking lot.

Police advised the church to announce the damage to the congregation, and six owners left the church to inspect the damage. Each wanted a separate police report filed. 

According to a juvenile witness, the youth who scratched the vehicles bolted into the neighborhood behind the church when he was seen in the parking lot The witness chased the suspect for a short distance before losing sight of him, a police report stated.

Damages included scratches down the length of each vehicle.
