News Nearby: Man Stabbed to Death Inside Snellville Home

The victim was able to speak to Gwinnett County police officers before dying of his injuries at the hospital.

Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating the weekend stabbing death of a man in Snellville.

According to a police report, the incident happened about 12:30 p.m. on March 30 at the 2400 block of Hurndon Road in Snellville.

The victim was a male tenant in the home, police said. His name, however, has not yet been released.

Police were notified by the homeowner of a person stabbed at that location. The person told officials that he arrived home to find the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was transported to the hospital, and he was able to speak to police before dying of his wounds, police said.

He was pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical Center.

Investigators are following several leads, but are not releasing additional information at this time.
