Odin's Robbed at Gunpoint

The comic book store reported the armed robbery last month.

Odin's Comics was allegedly robbed at gunpoint last month.

The incident occurred Dec. 27 around 1:15 p.m. inside the 937 Killian Hill Road shop and was called in by the victim, a 33-year-old employee. The suspect fled after taking cash from the store's register and cash box.

According to the police report, the suspect entered the store twice. The employee told Gwinnett County Police that the first time he came in, the man simply looked around and left.

He returned 15 minutes later, saying he was shopping for a relative. He explained that he left earlier because he had to use the bathroom.

The man purchased a dice bag for $7.99, says the report. After the purchase, he walked toward the back of the store where it appeared he was looking at more merchandise.

The man approached the employee, who was reading a magazine behind the counter, and placed a gun to his side. The suspect forced the employee to open the cash register and cash box, and the victim gave him the money.

Per the suspect's orders, the employee led the suspect into a kitchen/storage room. The suspect told the victim to count to 50, and the suspect left the store.

The victim told police that the suspect is slender and between the ages of 18 and 25. Standing at approximately 6 feet tall, he wore a beige jacket, matching gloves with the fingers exposed, and a hat or a durag. The man's gun had been in his left hand, said the victim, and he was possibly driving a silver or gold coupe.
