One Injured in Lilburn House Fire
The victim "sustained injuries from high heat and smoke, and was conscious and breathing," according to Gwinnett Fire.
A fire at a Lilburn residence sent one person to the hospital Monday afternoon, according to Gwinnett Fire spokesman Lt. Colin Rhoden.
The fire occurred in the 700 block of Stacey Court.
"The patient sustained injuries from high heat and smoke, and was conscious and breathing," Rhoden said in a press release.

The occupant was found in a room near where the fire started, according to the report, and taken to the hospital by ambulance. No other info on the person was immediately available from Gwinnett Fire.
The 911 caller told dispatch the fire started in the garage and that a family member was still inside the house.

Fire crews arrived on scene at 1:50 p.m. and brought the blaze under control at 2:14 p.m. The fire caused moderate damage to the garage and smoke damage inside the house.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
