Police Apprehend Lilburn Man Wanted in Child Molestation Case

A Lilburn man wanted for child molestation is back in Gwinnett County, and this time, he's in jail.

Ricardo Tirado-Pantoja is being held without bond, and he is charged with child molestation, battery and two counts of third-degree cruelty to children, according to jail records.

Authorities say Tirado-Pantoja fled the area in May after the child abuse allegations first surfaced. Following a Gwinnett County Police Department investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office deputies then tracked him down in Louisiana. U.S. Marshals located him there and took him into custody on May 30.

Today (June 25) Tirado-Pantoja arrived to the Gwinnett County Detention Center to face charges. In addition to the charges related to the child abuse allegations, Tirado-Pantoja is placed on an immigration hold.
