Shooting happened in the 2500 block of Rockwood Way; victim has non life-threatening injuries.

Gwinnett County Police are searching for a suspect who shot a man in the 2500 block of Rockwood Way on the Gwinnett side of unincorporated Stone Mountain Friday.

Cpl. Jake Smith said police got the call at 1 p.m. about a 21-year-old male who'd been shot in the upper leg or torso area in the middle of the street. Police spoke to several witnesses about the shooting as well as the victim. Smith described it as 'some sort of domestic incident,' not drug-related or a robbery.

"It seems at this point it was some kind of argument amongst acquaintances. the exact relationship we're not real clear at this time," Smith said, who added there were "several people involved" in the incident.
