Police Unsure How Man, Woman Died at Parked Truck

The bodies were found in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett Police are treating the discovery of two dead bodies in unincorporated Lawrenceville as a homicide case, although the cause of dead was not immediately known.

Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said in a media release Friday afternoon that police found the dead bodies of an adult man and adult woman around 11:20 a.m. at a red pickup truck parked on Service Drive near the intersection of New Hope Road and Sugarloaf Parkway. Officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle at the site; the caller thought the vehicle might be illegally dumping trash on the dead end road.

Smith said police found the bodies of a white man inside the truck and a white woman just outside the vehicle.
