Police Warn of Man Trying to Lure Teen

Gwinnett Police want parents and children to be on the alert for a suspicious person.

Gwinnett Police are warning the community to be cautious of strangers, especially for children who are walking to and from school.

This advice comes after a Parkview High School student reported that a man tried to lure her as she walked to school Monday morning, according to a report on WSB.

The man stopped his car and then tried to get the teen girl to come his vehicle, police were quoted as saying. Instead, the 17-year-old ran into nearby Mountain Park Elementary for help, the news report said.
