Rape, Home Invasion Reported in Unincorporated Lilburn

Two armed men this week sexually assaulted a woman and stole jewelry after kicking their way into a house in unincorporated Lilburn, reports said.

 

Two armed men kicked their way into the house of a jeweler Monday night, sexually assaulted one of the women in the house and made away with about $100,000 in jewelry and watches, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported.

The house is in unincorporated Lilburn, according to the police incident report, which included an extensive list of the jewelry taken.

Investigators believe the family, who are Indian, was targeted because they own a jewelry store near the Highway 124 corridor close to Snellville, according to the newspaper.

The suspects are black males, both about 5 feet 11 inches tall. One weighs about 180 pounds, the other around 185 pounds, according to the police report.

The men were wearing ski masks, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post. One was described as being about 40 to 45 years old. They both had large, black handguns.
