RBC Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested
Suspect was identified with the help of the bank robbery video.
A suspect in last month's RBC Bank robbery was arrested Tuesday in Morrow, said.
The suspect, Rayford Aaron Lanham, was identified after the video of the bank robbery was aired a second time and the police got two separate tips from viewers, Lilburn Police Captain Ben Haynes said in an emailed release.
Lilburn police learned that Lanham was staying at an abandoned house in Morrow that belonged to his deceased mother. Senior Investigator Kim Banks canvassed the house and saw a car matching the one used in the robbery.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation secured the area until the Clayton County Sheriff's office could arrest the suspect. Lanham was taken to the Clayton County jail and will be brought to Gwinnett.
The car was taken into custody.
