Robbery Victim to Suspect: 'Are You Serious?'

The clerk at a Lilburn CVS said a man went up to her and demanded money at gunpoint, according to police.

A CVS pharmacy in Lilburn was robbed last week in broad daylight.

According to the Lilburn Police report, the incident occurred at the chain store at 355 Lester Road around 2:09 p.m. last Thursday (Aug. 8).

The clerk told police that a man came into the store asking for flu medicine, so she directed him to the correct aisle. He picked up some sinus pills and went to the register. As she was ringing him up, he said he left his wallet in the car, so he left.

When he came back, he said, "Give me the money out of the drawer."

She asked him, "Are you serious?" to which he replied, "Don't make me shoot you," and pulled out a black gun.

She placed the money in the bag with the sinus medicine, and he ran out the store. The manager saw the suspect drive away in a gray Ford F150 pickup truck.

According to surveillance video, the suspect was white and wearing a black hoodie, a red undershirt, black shorts or swim trunks, black tennis shoes with a white sole, and a blue or white surgical mask.
