Wells Fargo Robbery Suspects in Jail

Three suspects are in custody following to an armed robbery at a Wells Fargo on Lawrenceville Highway in December.

All three suspects in a recent armed robbery of a Wells Fargo bank near Lilburn are now in custody, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's website.

Marcus Rashed Rutledge, who was located and arrested Tuesday; Thomas Birdsong, who turned himself in to police after seeing media coverage; and Jamar Terrel, who was arrested shortly after the robbery are all in Gwinnet County Detention Center.

All three men face charges of felony armed robbery and are being held without bond.

Police believe Terrell and Rutledge were the armed gunmen in the robbery, and that Birdsong acted as lookout during the Dec. 28 robbery of the Wells Fargo, located at 3065 Lawrenceville Highway.
