Wife Allegedly Stabs Husband With Fork

Inside the Police Reports: A husband claims his wife forked him in the groin and arm.

A husband alleged that his wife stabbed him in the groin and arm with a fork last month.

The husband told Gwinnett County police that an argument started between them during the early morning hours of Oct. 22 inside their home in unincorporated Lilburn.

According to the police report, the 61-year-old husband, who had had a few beers, was playing pool with their son in the basement. His wife, 53, came downstairs in an angry mood. She yelled that they were too loud and keeping her up while she was trying to sleep, the husband said.

He called her a "bitch" and told her to get out, and she swore she would attack him if he called her that again.

He egged her on by saying, "Alright, bitch."

She then grabbed the fork he was eating with, stabbed him in the groin and arm, and left to get ready for work, says the report.

The son, 21, confirmed his father's story to police.

The husband had bruises and two sets of four small puncture wounds on his upper left arm and his inner thigh, but they were not bleeding, so he didn't ask for medical treatment.

Officers attempted to call the wife but her cell phone went directly to voicemail, and the husband said there was no other way of reaching her at work.

A warrant was secured for her, and she was arrested two days later for aggravated assault.
