New Business:

1. Public Hearing: Adoption of Zoning Resolution & Official Zoning Map

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council adopt Ordinance #420-11 amending the 1985 City of Lilburn Zoning Resolution by replacing Appendix A “Zoning” in its entirety, and adoption of the 2011 Official Zoning Map, as presented.”

2. Approval of Amendments to the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council adopt Ordinance #422-11, amending the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance, Sec. 67-87 and Sec. 6-96 revising the hours and days of sale to reflect Sunday sales of packaged alcohol as per the referendum of November 8, 2011, to be effective December 12, 2011, as presented by the Alcohol Review Board.”

3. Approval of Alarm System Ordinance

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council adopt Ordinance #423-11, creating an Alarm System Ordinance to provide for registration and regulation of Alarm Systems intended to summon law enforcement response.”

4. Award of Engineering Services Contract – Killian Hill TE Multi-Use Path

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council approve entering into a contract with Falcon Design Consultants for the Concept Design Phase, Land Surveying, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration for a fee not to exceed $165,000.00.”

5. Transportation Enhancement Grant – Highway 29 Multi-Use Trail Project

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council approve Resolution #424-11 regarding the funding and grant match of 20%, not to exceed $140,000, for the 2012 Transportation Enhancement Grant / Highway 29 Multi-Use Trail Project. Further, to authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary grant documents on behalf of the City of Lilburn.”

6. Main Street Relocation – Agreement Between City of Lilburn and Lilburn CID

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council approve the Agreement between the Lilburn Community Improvement District and the City of Lilburn regarding the Main Street Relocation project. Further, to authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.

7. Acceptance of Donation from Lilburn Woman’s Club – Polaris ATV

Recommendation: “That the Mayor and Council accept the donation of $8,299 from the Lilburn Woman’s Club to the City of Lilburn to reimburse the purchase of a Polaris ATV through the Capital Projects fund for the use of multiple city departments.”
