The Lilburn City Council has scheduled a special called meeting Thursday morning to consider funding a loan to the Downtown Development Authority toward the purchase of an Old Town property. The approximately $56,000 is 25 percent of the purchase price of 336 Main Street (formerly Sol Y Luna), according to the meeting agenda, and is per the agreement the council has with the DDA. The council may also go into executive session to discuss “certain personnel issues,” according to the agenda. Meeting time is 7:30 a.m. The regular monthly council meeting is Monday, April 11.
