City of Lilburn to Break Ground on Main Street Realignment

A ceremony will be held in early February.

The City of Lilburn will hold a groundbreaking ceremony to officially kick off the beginning of their Main Street Realignment Project.

The ceremony will take place Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. in the grassy lot next to S.M.I.L.E. at 336 Main Street, Lilburn. 

A new City Hall, municipal building and library will be built in the realigned area. They will be visible to drivers traveling down Lawrenceville Highway.

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
